✰ [Sheet Mask Review] Mediheal Mask Dress ♥ Dress Code Red (Mask 2 of 5)✰

Hello!~ I hope everyone's day is going well ♡ This is the second mask I received for review from the Skin18 blogger team and I really love this mask since it was so fun to wear! As I noted before on my previous sheet mask review on the Four Seasons ♥ Red Ginseng White Clean Active Mask (click here to read!), Skin18 is an online beauty website selling a large variety of Asian skincare products and they also provide monthly subscription boxes. Today I will be reviewing the second mask sent from Skin18, which is the Dress Code Red mask from the brand Mediheal Mask Dress (메디힐 마스크 드레스 코드 레드). This mask looked very fun to use since it looks like a masquerade mask when worn! My mom also thought it was funny, so maybe I will buy one for her to wear. ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

                                                        ✰ Description of the Product ✰

This sheet mask is one of the four Dress Code masks collection with the other three being Dress Code Violet, Dress Code Blue, and Dress Code Black. Each of these masks serve a different function such as whitening or moisture and this Dress Code Red mask that I used has a function of anti-aging. The packaging for this mask looks really cute and sophisticated! It made me excited to try it since I've never tried a mask with designs on it before. I was given this mask for free in exchange for my personal opinion of it, but if you would like to purchase it on the Skin18 website, it is $2.80. The price is pretty decent, so I'll probably purchase one of these for my mom to try out since she loves using sheet masks too. ʕ￫ᴥ￩ʔ This mask comes with 27 ml of product and is made in Korea.

The back of the mask is all in Korean, except for the ingredients. There is a small diagram of how the mask will look like once it's applied! For those who don't know how to read Korean, you can easily follow the steps with the diagrams shown on the left side. ⋆

                                                    ✰ What is This Product Meant For? ✰

According to Skin18.com, this mask is an anti-aging mask with a main ingredient of Red Ginseng which is used to assist the skin in making strong cells. Because of the anti-aging effect, this mask is also meant to decrease the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines around the face. The mask allows the skin to feel hydration after using and makes the skin more elastic. ⋆


                                                                ✰ How to Use ✰

Before using this mask, cleanse your face thoroughly. This mask didn't have any paper backing attached, so you can just unfold the mask and apply it onto your face. Smooth out any wrinkles on the sheet mask so that it covers all parts of your face. Apply the leftover essence from your hands on your neck, arms, or legs. The back of the packaging suggests to leave the mask on for about 10-20 minutes, but I left mine on for about 30 minutes before removing. Tap the remaining essence onto your face and neck. *Tip!~ With the remaining essence, I usually like to give my face a mini facial massage to increase blood flow.* Don't forget to not wash your face after using the mask or else all of the nutrients will be lost! Since this mask contained essence, I skipped my nighttime essence and continued to use my emulsion and then my night cream. ⋆


                                                                 ✰ Ingredients ✰

As stated before, the main ingredient for this mask is Red Ginseng and there are also some notable ingredients such as fruit extract and ginkgo biloba nut extract. This mask doesn't contain any harsh ingredients such as parabens or silicone, so this is a plus! Unfortunately the ingredients for this mask is not listed on cosdna.com so we can't know for sure the safety levels, but judging from the looks of it, this mask seems fairly safe to use. It does contain fragrance too, so if you feel irritation from fragrance, please be aware before using! Please look below for the rest of the ingredients list.~ ⋆

                                                                 ✰ My Review ✰

Overall, this was a fun and nice mask to use and I really loved using it! The scent of the mask was very relaxing since it had a floral scent, but it wasn't too strong. The fit of the mask didn't seem too big on me either, although there were still some wrinkles to smooth out. There was enough essence on the mask and inside of the packaging, but not so much that it drips off of the mask! Regarding the effects of the mask, after using it, my face felt really soft and hydrated throughout the night and until morning. I don't have any deep, noticeable wrinkles on my face, so I wouldn't know for sure if this helped with the wrinkles and fine lines or not. My guess is that on the first time using, it might not make any difference, but according to Skin18.com, it states that this mask will become more effective once it's being used continuously twice a week for 4 weeks! I love how this mask was also very fun to use since it came with a masquerade design so it made me excited to try it! After applying the leftover essence to my face, it felt a little bit sticky but it wasn't that bad. The mask also didn't cause any allergic reactions or irritations for me. ⋆

Pros

💕 Face felt very soft and hydrated after using

💕 Contained a decent amount of extra essence
💕 No irritation or allergic reactions and no break-outs
💕 Didn't contain harsh ingredients such as parabens, silicone, or alcohol

Cons

💕 Didn't minimize my very small fine lines on my forehead (I wouldn't really consider this a con or pro since it would take a while for the mask to make a difference after continuous use)
💕 A little pricey for $2.80 in my opinion

                                              ✰ Would I Recommend and Repurchase? ✰

Yes! I would recommend this mask to anyone looking for a fun mask design and a hydrated face! I enjoyed using this mask and I would use this mask again if it was given to me, but I wouldn't purchase it because of the price. I'm used to purchasing masks around $1 - $1.75 (I know I'm a little cheap lol). Although I wouldn't purchase this for myself, I feel like my mom would have fun with this mask so I'll consider buying one for her. After trying this mask, I would like to try the other masks in this collection too and compare if they are all more similar or different. The other masks in this collection also have different masquerade designs so it will be fun to look different each time!~ ⋆
