✰ [Sheet Mask Review] LUKE ♥ Charcoal Nose Cleansing Strip (Mask 3 of 5) ✰

Hello everyone~ I apologize for not being able to review products as much as I should due to school! (>_<) My school is ending in about two weeks and then it will be summer, so I'll have a lot more time to write more reviews for you to enjoy! ♡ This is the third mask that I received from Skin18 for review! As noted before in my previous two sheet mask reviews, Red Ginseng White Clean Active Mask (click here to read!) and Dress Code Red (click here to read!), Skin18 is an online beauty website selling a large variety of Asian skincare products and they also provide monthly subscription boxes. They also have a ton of useful information about skincare questions people may have on their website, so feel free to check out their shop here if you are interested in purchasing any of their products or want to learn more about skincare! You may also click on the Skin18 banner to the right of this post. ♡

Today I'll be reviewing this Charcoal Nose Cleansing Strip from the brand LUKE (루크 참숮 클렌징 코팩). This brand has a lot more cleansing strips, but this is my first time trying this brand! I actually have some of the other different LUKE nose strips that I won from a giveaway on Instagram but haven't used yet, so I'll review those sometime in the future! I used a Tony Moly nose cleansing strip before, but it didn't really work well for me so I didn't have high hopes that this one will work for me also. ʕ •ᴥ• ʔ

✰ Description of the Product ✰

This nose cleansing strip is from the brand LUKE and this skincare brand includes other items such as sheet masks and eye patches. I've heard great reviews on the eye patches, so I'll give it a try some time really soon! All of the packaging on LUKE products has this really cute illustration of a girl on the front and on the packages for the nose strips, the girl is wear a nose strip too! Lol so cute! ʕ→ᴥ←ʔ I was given this mask for free in exchange for my personal opinion of it, but if you would like to purchase it on the Skin18 website, it costs $0.65. For a nose strip, it's pretty inexpensive. Each package contains only one nose strip and is made in Korea!

The back of the package is all in Korean except for the directions and cautions about the product. There are helpful visuals for the directions too! The visuals are very straightforward and easy to follow.

✰ What is This Product Meant For? ✰

According to Skin18.com, this Charcoal Nose Cleansing Strip is used to clean, minimize, and tighten pores and also removing blackheads on your nose. These cleansing strips remove impurities and lift away the blackheads on your nose.

                                                                ✰ How to Use

Before using this pore strip, clean your face with water first and then dry your face. To use this strip, it's important to wet your nose first so that the strip is able to stick onto your nose. Next, remove the clear plastic attached to the strip and place the strip on your nose with the smooth side down. I was always confused on whether the little bump in the middle faces the top or bottom, but judging from the diagram, it faces the bottom ʕ→ᴥ←ʔ If there are some parts on the strip that aren't sticking to your skin, add a little bit more water on your face and press the strip down gently. Keep it on for about 10~20 minutes until the strip has dried and once it feels stiff, it can be removed. To remove the strip, start to peel it at the edges slowly and pull towards the center. After removing the strip, it is recommended to use a pore cleanser after and then follow up with your usual nighttime skincare routine.

                                                                ✰ Ingredients

The ingredients are not specified on the packaging, but according to Skin18.com, there are some notable ingredients meant to help the skin. The nose strip includes Vitamin E and aloe vera extract to sooth the skin, licorice root extract to relieve irritation, natural mineral ingredients of charcoal to vitalize and refresh the skin, and hamamelis virginiana to tighten the pores are cleansing. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the list of ingredients on cosdna.com too, so I wouldn't know for sure what other ingredients are included in this pore strip.

                                                                ✰ My Review

My nose originally didn't have any blackheads, so as expected, nothing really came on the strip. The strip did pull out a ton of very fine hairs though! In the photo above, it's a little hard to see but there are tiny fine hairs in the top center and on the far right side of the strip. It didn't hurt to pull the strip off once it dried, so it was pretty painless. When I first put the strip on my nose, it had a terrible smell which I'm guessing is the scent of sulfur. I heard from a friend that in hot springs, the water contains a lot of sulfur which is meant to smooth the skin, so this would probably be a good thing in the strip! After a while, I got used to the smell so it wasn't too bad after wearing it. The strip was a perfect fit for me too, it wasn't too big or small and it was sticking really well after applying water on my nose. Although I didn't initially have blackheads on my nose, I tried this nose strip out anyways to see if it's able to pull anything out of my nose that isn't visible to the human eye. Once the nose strip came off, it was pretty much clean except for some fine fuzzy hair. I have another one of these strips from a giveaway that I won a while ago, so I'll have my mom test it out next time and post an update on how it went. Overall, I didn't expect much from this strip as I initially didn't have blackheads on my nose, but it was interesting and fun to pull the strip off.

✰ Would I Recommend and Repurchase?

This nose strip was interesting to use, but I feel like it really would be beneficial for people who actually have blackheads on their nose. I don't recommend purchasing this item if your nose is clear of blackheads! From the experience of peeling the nose strip off, it was really stuck on my nose after it dried, so I have a feeling it would be able to lift off those blackheads. I'll probably have my mom try this nose strip out in the future and see how it goes for her, then I'll update back on here for the final decision! Although I recieved this item for free in exchange for my honest review, I don't think I would purchase this nose strip for myself in the future. For those who do like to use nose strips, the price is very affordable, so if you're interested in buying this item, check it out at Skin18.com!~

Thank you for reading my review of this Charcoal Nose Cleansing Strip provided by Skin18! This was an interesting nose strip to use, but now I know my nose doesn't need that much attention~ Thanks to Skin18 for providing this sheet mask for me to test and review! ♥ I have two more masks to review for you from Skin18 and they should be posted up really soon! Finals are coming up soon, so I'll work hard on posting more reviews as soon as possible. Thank you for waiting, I promise I'll post reviews a lot faster once summer starts!~
