I'm back with another eye patch review and this one is the Collagen Hydrogel Eye Patch/콜라겐 하이드로겔 아이 패치 (collagen nutrition firming - green) from the brand LUKE! ʕ •ᴥ• ʔ This was kindly sent to me from Skin18 to review and share my honest opinion for everyone to read! Hopefully reading this review will help you decide if you would like to use this or not. ♡  

                  
I've reviewed many masks from Skin18 in the past, but for those who haven't read any of my sheet mask reviews from Skin18 or don't know what Skin18 is, it's an online beauty website selling a large variety of Asian skincare products and they also provide some subscription boxes!                                                   ✰ Description of the Product ✰

The product that I will be reviewing today is the Collagen Hydrogel Eye Patch which is one of four eye patches in the hydrogel line that targets different eye problems. ʕ￫ᴥ￩ʔ The other eye patches that target different eye problems is the wrinkle eye patch (red), eye puffiness eye patch (purple), and the vitamin eye patch (orange) which I actually reviewed here, so please feel free to read it if you are interested! ♥ 

The back of the package is in both Korean and English, which states how to use the product, cautions, some ingredients, and the expiry date (July 20, 2018)! ʕ •ᴥ• ʔ The package contains 2 pads which will last for one treatment and the product is made in Korea. ⋆


                                               ✰ What is This Product Meant For? ✰

Since this eye patch's main effect is collagen, it is meant to allow your under eye to absorb collagen nutrition that firms the skin around the eye area. It is also meant to be refreshing and moisturizing while reducing a visible anti-wrinkle effect and provide elasticity. ʕ •ᴥ• ʔ This eye patch should also reduce dark circles and eye puffiness! ⋆

                                                              ✰ How to Use ✰

Before using this product, cleanse your face first! ʕ￫ᴥ￩ʔ After your face is cleansed, the Skin18 website recommends to apply a small amount of eye cream under your eyes before you use the eye patch and pat the eye cream to absorb. Next, peel off the hydrogel eye patch off of the film and gently apply the sticky part under your eyes (one side should be a little sticky, the other side is a soft velvet texture). ʕ •ᴥ• ʔ Leave the eye patch under your eyes for about 20-30 minutes, but you may keep it on longer if you wish! When you're finished, remove the eye patch and finish off with your eye cream. ⋆

Some ingredients for this eye patch was mentioned on the front part of the package, which are collagen, vitamin A, E, and C, and green tea extract. On the back of the package there is a small section that says 주요성분 which means important ingredients and after that it says 하이드롤라이즈드콜라겐 which means hydrolyzed collagen. ʕ •ᴥ• ʔ The next ingredient part says 표시성분 which means show ingredients and after that it says 메칠파라벤 (methylparaben). I believe that those are all of the ingredients added to this eye patch. It's unfortunate this product contains methylparaben, an ingredient I dislike in my skincare products. ㅠ.ㅠ


                                                             ✰ My Review ✰

I really liked the effects of this eye patch after I used it! My eyes looked a little bit brighter, although it wasn't a drastic difference and the puffiness under my eyes were temporarily gone. ʕ •ᴥ• ʔ My eyes also felt very moisturized and soft after using. I didn't see any of my fine lines fade away, but it might be possible if people use this daily! ♥ The scent of this eye patch was a very light aloe vera scent, which smelled very nice~

Here is a photo of the eye patch on the plastic lining! The front part of the eye patch is like a soft cotton.

The part where it will be placed under the eyes is like a slightly sticky or tacky gel. It's very comfortable to wear and it doesn't move around or fall off during the time it's under my eyes. ʕ •ᴥ• ʔ 

I always love using hydro gel eye patches as opposed to normal eye patches since these don't fall off as easy and the benefits of the hydro gel is probably a lot better for the under eyes! ʕ￫ᴥ￩ʔ Using this just makes me want to use my package of 30 hydro gel eye patches that I got from my TofuCrate box back in the Spring time. If I use those soon, a review will come up some time in the future! ʕ￫ᴥ￩ʔ

Pros

💕 Instant eye brightening, but temporary effect
💕 Instant eye puffiness reduction, also temporary effect
💕 Under-eye area felt very moisturized and soft!
💕 Light scent of aloe vera
💕 Eye patch doesn't fall off or move around

Cons

💕 Contains a paraben
💕 No instant fine line/wrinkle reduction

                                             ✰ Would I Recommend and Repurchase? ✰

This eye patch was really nice to use as a one-time treatment, but of course if you would like a long-term treatment, then it would be best if you used these daily so that you could possibly see effects such as wrinkle or fine line diminishing. ʕ￫ᴥ￩ʔ I would recommend this eye patch to anyone looking for a quick under-eye moisturizer, temporary brightener, and temporary eye puffiness diminisher, but wouldn't mind the ingredient of a paraben! If you are someone that doesn't really prefer to have certain potentially harmful ingredients in your skincare and sheet masks, then this might not be the greatest product for you!! ⋆
