✰ [Sheet Mask Review] Four Seasons ♥ Red Ginseng White Clean Active Mask (Mask 1 of 5)✰

Hi everyone~ Welcome back to my second sheet mask review post! I recently came in contact with the blogger team from Skin18.com and they were so kind enough to send me this sheet mask for review ♡ Skin18 is an online beauty website selling a large variety of Asian skincare products and they also provide subscription boxes! Today I'll be reviewing one of the five masks sent to me from Skin18, which is the Red Ginseng White Clean Active Mask from the brand Four Seasons. Right away I noticed that it contains some ginseng extract in it after seeing the cute ginseng illustration on the front of the packaging and I was excited to use this one first since ginseng has an amazing scent. ♡

                                                         ✰ Description of the Product ✰

This sheet mask is one of the six Four Seasons masks and the other Four Seasons masks are Aloe Soothing Waterful Oasis Mask, Multi Vita Brightening Active Mask, Syn-ake Anti-Wrinkle Time Reset New Born Mask, Collagen Lifting Wrinkle Care Intensive Mask, and Snail Repairing Wrinkle Care Intensive Mask. These masks mainly are used for either whitening or anti-wrinkle and the Red Ginseng White Clean Active Mask that I'm currently reviewing is a whitening function. I was given this sheet mask for free to review, but if you want to purchase it from Skin18.com, it's $0.95 which is an extremely good price since most sheet masks cost about $1.75 - $3 each. This package comes with 23 mL of product and is made in Korea.

                                                    ✰ What is This Product Meant For? ✰

According to Skin18.com, this mask is a whitening mask that contains highly concentrated Red Ginseng meant to give the skin moisture and nutrients while leaving the skin shiny. Red Ginseng contains many nutrients that prevents aging and can improve blood circulation for healthy and smooth skin. ⋆

                                                                    ✰ How to Use ✰

Before using this mask, cleanse your face and then apply toner. This mask didn't have any extra paper attached to it so you can just unfold the mask and apply it on your face. Press lightly when applying the mask and be sure to smooth out any mask wrinkles so that it covers all parts of your face. Apply the leftover essence from your hands on your arms, neck, or legs. Leave the mask on for about 15-30 minutes. I usually leave my masks on for the full 30 minutes or sometimes even longer, but even if you leave the mask on until it dries (probably around 40-50 minutes), it won't make any difference than if you took it off after 30 minutes. When finished, pat on the rest of the essence in the package and then apply the rest of your skincare routine. Do not wash your face after you take the mask off! This mask contained a ton of extra essence so it lasted me until the second night after using it! Since these masks contain essence, I usually skip my nightly essence and move straight to my emulsion and then my night cream. ⋆

                                                                    ✰ Ingredients ✰

The ingredients used for this mask contains no parabens or silicone, but it does contain alcohol. According to cosdna.com, the ingredients for this mask range from a low safety level of green to yellow, which is good as long as it doesn't have a red safety level (meaning the safety is high and should take caution when using). Two of the notable ingredients for this mask is niacinamide and ginseng root extract. Niacinamide is an ingredient commonly used in skincare and cosmetics which is meant to brighten the face and soften the skin. This mask contains ingredients that aren't harmful to the skin, which is a big plus for me!

                                                                     ✰ My Review ✰

This mask has by far been one of my favorite masks that I've used! The package illustration on the front looks so cute and I really enjoyed using it. One of my favorite things about this mask is the scent, which isn't your typical floral or 'fresh' smelling masks, but it actually smells like ginseng. I drink ginseng tea everyday and this was so relaxing for me to wear. ♡ For people who aren't used to smelling ginseng, it might be a little different than what you're used to using, but trust me, you'll love this scent! After using this mask, it really hydrated my skin and made my skin look a lot brighter. My face did look a bit whiter than usual, but this effect only seems temporary. I also love how this mask came with a lot of extra essence, so I used it on my neck, arms, and legs. Even after that, I still had more essence leftover so I saved it for the next day. It was a bit sticky after applying the essence, but I don't mind since I was using this at night. I probably wouldn't use this in the morning. ⋆

                                                    ✰ Would I Recommend and Repurchase? ✰

Yes! I would definitely recommend this sheet mask to anyone willing to try something new. The scent was amazing and the mask lived to do what it claimed! The only thing about this mask was that it contained alcohol, although I personally don't mind, but some people might not like using products with alcohol. This mask might not be suitable for those sensitive to fragrance, so please take caution before using! This mask also didn't give me any break-outs or irritations, so I'll most likely repurchase this again. My mom loves ginseng too, so this might be a great mask for her to use. ♥ I am also very interested to try the other masks in this collection and wondering if they all have a scent different to the fresh or floral scent that I'm used to. ⋆
